You say potato, I say...

8 January 2009 by Doug Imrie

Whilst giving our latest newsletter its final edit yesterday morning prior to publication the most contentious issue causing the most debate was my spelling of swop rather than swap. Both spellings are okay to use with swap leaning more towards American English. John and Simon agreed that swap was the most common and therefore correct spelling whereas I favoured swop. Mimtech is a democratic company and a 2/1 majority between the Directors rules, however in this case the master copy of the newsletter was 'locked'  on my pc and I had the publish button so for any readers out there I take full responsibility for the use of swop. Please address any complaints accordingly!

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck!

I cannot WAIT to read more of this.  I mean, you just know so much about this.  So much of it Ive never even thought of.  You sure did put a new twist on something that Ive heard so much about.  I dont believe Ive actually read anything that does this subject as good justice as you just did.

Although a whole lot of countries have a valid claim to an early video game that resembles the video game of golf, the origins of golf are without a doubt routed in Scotland's past. The fact is, video game of golf probably derived from other countries and stick and ball kind games. Nevertheless, whilst these are stick and ball games, they are missing that vital ingredient that is unique to golf. The hole. It was the Scots who released the golf hole into the online game we now call the game.
