Acquisition News

7 May 2009 by Simon Mone

I have just been pointed at  a news article telling the world that Open Text is to acquire Vingette (see here) for about $310 Million US.  I wonder if someone should build a Vignette to RedDot migration tool or a RedDot to Vignette migration tool.

In reality I would probably choose EPiServer but then you may already have noticed a switch of focus.

Its like you read my mind!  You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.  I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog.  A great read.  Ill definitely be back.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog?  Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.  But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.  Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images.  Maybe you could space it out better?

Im not gonna lie, Im really impressed.  Its rare for me to find something on the internet thats as entertaining and intriguing as what youve got here.  Your page is sweet, your graphics are great, and whats more, you use videos that are relevant to what youre saying.  Youre definitely one in a million, man!

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.

Wow, what a blog!  I mean, you just have so much guts to go ahead and tell it like it is.  Youre what blogging needs, an open minded superhero who isnt afraid to tell it like it is.  This is definitely something people need to be up on.  Good luck in the future, man.

How-do-you-do, just needed you to know I have added your site to my Google bookmarks because of your extraordinary blog layout. But seriously, I think your site has one of the freshest theme I've came across. It really helps make reading your blog a lot easier.

To pick tracks (or files) similar as advancing the "sled" within the continuous examine or write operations, a stepping engine rotates a coarse-pitch leadscrew to move the "sled" all through its total travel array. The engine, by itself, can be the gray cylinder just towards the left from the most-distant shock mount; its shaft is parallel for the help rods. The leadscrew, by itself, could be the rod with evenly-spaced darker particulars; they are the helical groove that engages a pin about the "sled".
