With SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) set to be the big thing in the coming months I can confirm that we will soon be launching PEPPER smoothie - our full feature WCM offering in partnership with Mediasurface.

As they say in the USA, "we've just got a couple more ducks to line up" including a quick trip to Paris (life sucks!) and things will be ready to go - watch this space for more.

I guess it was inevitable given all the rumours and confused messaging last year but I am just back at work and have already had several conversations with clients who are starting to plan for a move off the Obtree/Livelink platform. These things take time of course but there are Obtree users who have made the decision. It will be interesting to see which of the alternatives get the early wins.

I was also surprised to see the progress our R&D team have made in developing the mim:switch toolset which has already passed a stage 4 proof of concept. Maybe I should stay at home more often. 

Looks like we're in for an interesting year. 

In answer to so many requests from customers for information regarding the future of Obtree C4 - aka Livelink WCM Presentation Server - Mimtech have initiated the Talk Obtree discussion forum to provide a platform for Obtree customers to communicate and share information with regard to their current Obtree implementation and their future plans and options.

Let the discussions begin.....
